Better Biome Blend is a Client-Side Forge and Fabric mod that accelerates the biome color blending algorithm.
This allows for very large "Biome Blend" settings without performance loss. The value can be changed in your "Video Settings" screen and the recommended setting is 29x29.
The main focus of the mod is it's visual quality improvement over vanilla. The new algorithm is however also fast compared to vanilla, such that the "Biome Blend" setting now has no noticeable impact on performance.
Compatibility:
- Fully compatible with Optifine
- Currently not compatible with Sodium. It will simply be overwritten and not do anything
- Issues with 1.12? Try Mixin 0.7-0.8 Compatibility
