A Bukkit plugin, that makes fishing slightly more... unexpected.

What does it do?

Every time someone catches a fish, there is a chance of some 'special' event to happen. Special events include: - Throwing two zombies into the player, as well as 8 fish. - Throwing a 'kittycannon', known from the Essentials plugin (basically a cat that explodes), as well as 2 fish. - Throwing an egg that spawns a squid on impact, the squid drops 3 fish. - Throwing the player into the water, dropping 5 fish. - Throwing an armed TNT, that explodes after 1 second without destroying any blocks, dropping 16 fish upon explosion. - Throwing a bunch of trash items: 11 Lily Pads, 19 Dirt, 7 Vines, 9 Cobwebs and 11 Long Grass. - Making a huge geyser that spits out a bunch of water blocks as well as fish, ending with fireworks! - Throwing a Very Damaged Anvil into the player that can kill him, if he doesn't step away.

How chances work

The main chance setting sets the chance of some special event occuring. It is measured in percents. The default value is 10, which means 10%. The chances for the different actions work as follows: the chance for every action is <chance for that action set in config> / <sum of chances of every action>. By default the chances are set in such a way that their sum equals to 100. Let's take the "trash" chance. It is equal to 20. So the chance of this action occuring as a special action is 20 / 100, or 20%.

Commands

/ufish reload-config - Reloads the configuration file. /ufish debug-mode <true | false> - If set to true, enables the debug mode, otherwise disables. /ufish debug-action <ID> - Sets the action ID to the given one. Debug mode is basically a way to test each action. When debug mode is enabled, a special event defined by the debug-action will happen every time you catch a fish, despite the chance config setting. Action IDs vary from 1 to 8, 1 being throwing zombies into the player and 8 being the anvil. Special events are listed in the correct order a bit upper on this page. Also chances for events in the configuration file are also listed in the correct order.
